A challenging environment in focus

The conference centred on the increasingly challenging environment for pension funds. Geopolitical tensions, changes in the global economy and monetary policy developments are raising new questions for pension institutions. At the same time, it is becoming clear how important a well-considered portfolio positioning is in order to balance stability and long-term growth.

Tellco contributes its expertise to the discussion

Tellco’s subject-matter experts were also actively involved in the discussions. Alain Grand, Specialist manager in Pension solutions at Tellco Bank Ltd, took part in the panel discussion on current challenges in the pension fund environment. The focus was particularly on the perspectives of pension institutions as well as the impact of changing framework conditions.

Christa Janjic-Marti, Head of Executive Management Tellco Investment Foundation, contributed her expertise to the panel on assets and investments. The central question was whether real estate is increasingly replacing bonds and whether a silent shift in roles is therefore taking place in Swiss pension portfolios. The discussion highlighted how significantly the weighting of individual asset classes is currently shifting and what considerations lie behind these developments.

Between change and stability

Overall, the conference made it clear that occupational pensions are undergoing structural change. New investment forms, changing market conditions and increasing requirements demand flexible strategies and continuous dialogue within the industry.

For Tellco, participation provided a valuable opportunity to contribute its own perspectives while also gaining new impulses for the further development of occupational pensions. Special thanks go to BIEHLER Stiftungsberatungen und Management for the organisation, as well as to all participants for the inspiring exchange.
