TELLCO PENSION FUND
Tellco pk Foundation
For stable and transparent pension provision
Your partner for occupational pensions
Since 2002, more than 10,000 companies with around 100,000 employees have placed their trust in Tellco pk as their partner for occupational pensions. As one of the largest independent collective foundations in Switzerland, Tellco pk offers customised and fair solutions – from the OPA minimum to management pension plans that are either security- or return-oriented.
Specially developed for SMEs, Tellco pk enables individualised pension planning as required.
Corporate Governance
Tellco pk sets new standards in terms of transparency in occupational pensions. It is therefore a matter of course for us to set out our business processes in detail in corresponding regulations and directives. All processes are audited by internal departments, an independent external auditor and the investment controller. The persons entrusted with the management and asset management are subject to the charter of the Swiss Pension Fund Association ASIP. The OPA and Foundation Supervisory Authority of Central Switzerland (ZBSA), as the responsible supervisory authority, audits the management and asset management together with the external auditors.
Since 1 January 2015, all pension institutions are obligated to meet certain voting and disclosure duties in the case of directly held equities in listed Swiss public limited companies. In that case, they are also required to disclose voting behaviour (agendas and allocation of votes) to their insured persons.
Tellco pk does not hold any shares directly and is therefore unable to exercise any voting rights. However, it hereby fulfils the voting and disclosure duty pursuant to Article 23 of the Ordinance to Prevent Excessive Compensation in Listed Companies Limited by Shares (ERCO).
Mission statement
The Tellco pension fund has been committed to occupational pension provision since 2002 and offers policyholders a wide range of services in this area. It is aware of its social responsibility and takes an individual approach to the needs of policyholders.
Our occupational pension services offer policyholders the possibility to select a customised mix of security, growth and opportunities to get involved. We give equal treatment to registered partnerships and provide flexible support to companies in their cash management needs.
Tellco pk pursues long-term objectives, whether they be financial or social. Our investment strategy is focused accordingly and broadly diversified by asset class, maturity, region and liquidity. We integrate the objectives of sustainable development as an important part of our strategy.
We are actively committed to the federal government’s Energy Strategy 2050 and support it through our decarbonisation strategy, as part of which we refrain from investing in coal production and processing in our equity and bond portfolios. Along with investing in renewable energies, increasing energy efficiency, switching transport to rail and conserving natural resources, the focus is on building and operating real estate sustainably and reducing the ecological footprint of public facilities.

Our flexible risk management ensures the protection of our insured individuals’ retirement savings by focusing on targeted risk reduction, especially with regard to potential underfunding. We constantly monitor the investments we have made and our risks and adapt our investment strategy dynamically as required.
We prioritise transparency in our decisions and actions and consistently place the interests of our policyholders at the forefront. Our future-orientated investments include a clear strategy to raise the efficiency of all processes by using modern, user-friendly online platforms and digital applications such as ePlix for the benefit of all policyholders.
